Al Jabal by Rouse Nefous out of Magic Irida (Iridos)
On 26th March 2004 Al Jabal was fatally injured whilst out on exercise. Although his greatest achievement was to enter the Guinness Book of Records as the oldest horse, at 19, to win a race, we miss him for his every day attributes. He took many a rider in their first race, Show Jumping Class or Hunter Trial. He also carried Greville Starkey and Pippa Funnell in races. he was part of the display at Smiths Lawn for HRH Prince Charles as well as displays at the South of England Show and the Arab Horse Society Show. He is irreplaceable.
